Food is very important and is known as the fuel that our bodies run on. There are five major food groups from which it is important to eat from every day and these include dairy, fruit and vegetables, grains, meat and protein, and fats.

A healthy diet helps us to maintain good health and also aids in the prevention of illness and disease. Regular physical activity also helps to promote well-being, and can help to prevent certain conditions. As a guideline it is recommended that a person does approximately thirty minutes of exercise each day, in order to strengthen their bodies and improve health long term. Exercise also helps to strengthen the body’s muscles and bones, lower blood pressure and to maintain a healthy weight.
